Sungmin Chucks a Bruce Lee

Super Junior member Sungmin has once again showed his impressive skills in martial arts on Super Junior’s (Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Shindong) variety show, Lord of the Rings. With E.L.Fs already given a taste of Sungmin’s kick-ass skills on Star King some time ago, fans were delighted to see more.

Sungmin’s segment on the episode starts around 6:50.

Here’s part two, where he was challenged to put out the flames of five candles with a nunchuck.

Super Junior Hits Hong Kong, Three Members MIA?

Attention ELFs, Super Junior has touched base in Hong Kong! Yesterday, the popular SM group arrived in the famous city to begin preparations for the China leg of their Super Show 2 Live Tour. Since they arrived only one day before the concert, these boys must have been tremendously busy – aside from rehearsals and settling in, they held a press conference on the day of their arrival.

Highlights include Heechul in a mask & a few lines of (endearingly?) indecipherable Cantonese from our favorite thirteen-man idol group. The members promised fans a concert to look forward to – each member promised solo performances, including Ryeowook crossdressing & Donghae riding a bicycle. Wait, hold up – I think this concert just got a WHOLE lot more interesting!

Super Junior’s Kangin will not attend Asia Song Festival

Although Kangin is now in Hong Kong for Super Junior’s Super Show 2 concert, it has just been confirmed that he will not attend the 2009 Asia Song Festival.

SM Entertainment stated to Newsen on the 18th:

Kangin will not be attending the Asia Song Festival. Although Kangin will not attend, the rest of the Super Junior members will continue on as planned and perform on stage.

2PM to continue without Jaebeom!

After much drama surrounding leader Jaebeom leaving 2PM, JYP has finally released an official statement regarding 2PM’s future activities.

Unfortunately, 2PM will continue activities as 6-members, as JYP is stating that Jaebeom does not want to return as of now.

Whether Jaebeom not wanting to return is the truth or not, we have yet to hear. But as of now, 2PM will be 6 members.

For the past five days we have listened to what many people had to say regarding the Jaebeom incident. We have listened to the rebukes towards Jaebeom, the rebukes toward our company, and many of you telling us to give him another chance has been carefully heard.

Rain heads to NYC!

Korea’s hottest style icon/singer, Rain, showed a controversial fashion of a mixture of street casual and fine suit.

On September 14th, Rain departed Korea to participate in the opening ceremony of a new European luxury brand MCM in New York Saks Fifth Avenue.

Rain’s casual style at the airport and fine suit at the New York ceremony showed huge contrast in particular, and reassured his place as the hottest style icon.

When Rain left Korea, through Incheon International Airport, he had on a brown-colored leather jacket with Bermuda denims, black leggings with white shoes, topped off with a backpack and a checkered hat.

2PM Wooyoung’s cryptic message?

Shortly after JYP’s official statement about Jaebeom and 2PM moving forward with just 6 members, 2PM member Wooyoung posted a cryptic message on his cyworld page. He changed his main text to “死卽必生SaJeukpilseng,” which according to ♥2pm♥ of 2ONEDAY means “If you wish to live, you will die. If you wish to die, you will live.” It’s a famous saying by the famous Korean general Yi Sun Shin / Lee Soon Shin, as the leader in command said to his soldiers before they went to war.
